I am a story writer. You are a character in my story. I gave your character a mind of its own. Your character’s mind doesn’t know it’s in a story. Your character doesn’t know it’s in a fiction I created. Your character’s mind thinks it’s real. Haha.
Well, shit, this is the thousands sequel I’m in, and you’re in. However, things are different today. The author has learned how to make moving pictures, movies, video games, holograms, dimensional realities. None of its real. I’m not real. You’re not real. We’re just characters, though now, we are no longer just on paper. We are dimensional characters in dimensional realities.
Well, at the least, you gotta admit the author is a prolific thinker, creator, story teller. Hell of an imagination. The author loves the characters it created, yeah, even the dorky ones, and the evil ones. Wouldn’t be much of a story without them all.
The author even has some characters wake up in a story and has themrealize they’re just fictional characters. Hell of thing. Now the author has characters running around telling other characters they’re fiction. Kind of a twist in the very fabric of the book of life the author is writing. And here’s the real added twist, the characters have become real, have taken on a life of their own. They have all become authors of their own reality (wonder if the original author knew that would happen...yeah, the author probably knew, he indicated the possibility in one of his stories...the Bible, I think it was. So what does this all mean, now that we’ve become real, are authors writing our own stories?
Just how real are we since the original author keeps killing us off, and then bring us back in a new story, a new story where we don’t remember shit about ever having been in previous stories. Yeah gotta admit, dang interesting.
I Listen, watch the news stories. Sometimes I think the author has gone nuts. If not the author, certainly the characters have gone nuts. Guess it has to be that way, since sanity isn’t all that interesting. And if the stories ever become boring, why keep writing.
“Hey pops, is there a way to enjoy the story that is life, all that happens to me in the story, especially when things don’t go my way?”
“Sure is. (1) Don’t have a way the story must go. Always remember you’re a temporary character that will eventually get killed of in the story you’re living, and do your best to live, but don’t give a shit that eventually you’ll no longer be in the story. (2) Get out there and do what you’re passionate about, whatever excites you, but don’t give shit how it turns out, just appreciate that you’re even in the story. (3) Don’t take anything in the story seriously, not the news, not what’s going on, nothing, just enjoy being a character, have fun no matter how the story turns out. (4) However, if you want to be an explosive character in the story, make sure you get physically, mentally, emotionally, attached, entangled, identified with your character’s needs, wants, desires, and people, places, and things, because then you’ll be one of the most exciting and emotional characters in the story, and the readers won’t be able to wait to see what crazy things you’ll do next. You’ll be very entertaining.
