Some teachers taught that that the natural state of energy is blissful. That is a false teaching. Energy is not blissful. Energy is just energy. There is no blissful, ecstatic energy. There’s just energy.
Children are energy bombs. Whether they are happy bombs or unhappy bombs, depends on how they interpret things happening to them (same with adults and older people except their bodies don’t use energy as efficiently as young bodies. Adults and older people aren’t energy bombs, they’re more like fire crackers).
The amount of energy in a human can’t be blocked, but it can be channeled and dissipated. The fuel you have at any given time can be used-up by worry, fret, being anxious, concerned, vexed, irritated, upset, angry, and violent. It can also be used-up by happiness, joy, exuberance, bliss, and ecstasy. Added note: And like sunshine focused through a magnifying glass, energy can do nearly the impossible (until you run out of energy).
Each morning when you wake up you have a certain amount of energy depending on how restful your sleep was. As soon as your mind starts thinking, it uses energy. If you start focusing your thoughts on the things that excite you, whether cheerfulness or anger, bliss or grief, ecstasy or misery, you’re using up some of your energy. You can become so blissful and ecstatic, or so miserable and depressed that your body literally cannot handle it and you become incapacitated. That’s why depressed people don’t feel like doing anything, and blissed out people can’t do anything.
To what you channel your energy will determine the quality of your life. If you channel it to anger, you will have an angry life. If you channel it to peace, you will have a peaceful life. Note: Your thoughts direct energy where to flow and what biological (or chemical) responses to release, whether joy or sorrow. There are great benefits to monitoring your mind’s every thought.
The saying that, “a thought energized becomes alive,” merely means you are super focused on that thought (like a magnifying glass). You don’t energize a thought, you focus your energy on a thought. You really want what you are thinking about. That’s focusing your intent. That’s why you only get what you really, really, really want, and don’t get what you kinda maybe want. Be careful not what you ask for or wish for. Be careful what you are intensely wanting. Thankfully, wishful thinking produces no results, on the other hand, as you evolve, even mildly thinking about something, produces results. WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, WHICH IT DOES. Better to keep your mind silent except when performing tasks you assign it.
