Someone has a weird sense of humor.

Someone has a weird sense of humor. One day I didn’t exist or was asleep, and woke up with a body, and later learned I was on a planet named Earth.

Right from the beginning I told my mind that we are going to enjoy whatever happens to us.  My mind agreed, and off we went having fun.

When me and my mind got older we wanted to know what, how, why, when, where, and who created us?   So we checked it out.  We discovered the truth (as far as words describe truth) but then we realized it didn’t matter, so we said to hell with it, and refocused again on just enjoying each day as it appeared.

I do what I do; my mind thinks what it thinks; other people do what they do, and the earth does what it does, and we enjoy it all because life is more fun that way.  Life is just a game, a fantasy world, a theme park, a safari, a temporary adventure on a beautiful and magnificent killer world filled with delightful and deadly humans.  This place is so very weird which is why it’s fun.  We never know what’s going to happen next.  What’s not to enjoy?  However, I have empathy for humans who suffer because of their bodies, minds and emotions.

In my later years I started a retreat in the wilderness.  One day a young man came to the retreat and wanted to know what life is all about.  I told him it didn’t matter, and asked if he was enjoying his life.  He said no. so I told him that he and his mind were at odds, and all he had to do was retrain his mind so that he and his mind could be friends instead of enemies.  The mind is a beautiful thing if trained.  If not trained it can be a nightmare, a real pain in the ass.  He wanted to know what to do to retrain his mind, so I invited him in.

Another time a middle aged man came to the retreat and wondered if we train in mystical abilities and powers.  I laughed and told him that they who seek them are taught lessons by them, and it is less trouble to wait until they seek you, and in the meantime there are plenty of things to enjoy on this planet without them.  He didn’t like my answer, so he and his ego went away.

Life is like that.  If you seek joy, obviously you are not joy.  And you are not joy because of mental blocks,  the training, programming, brainwashing, indoctrination and propaganda you inherited from your body, and what you experienced from the time you were born.  Undo the inheritance and programming, and there is nothing left that blocks you from being what you are, which is joy.

The young man I invited in, stayed for dinner.  After dinner he asked, “How is it my mind is to blame for me not enjoying my life?”
